What is e-Library?

You can access a wide range of research, reference, and reading materials online from any location. You can search across many e-Books, or conduct your search within a particular e-Book.

This guide will explain how to access our e-Book collection.

What is an e-Book?

An e-Book is an electronic version of a printed book .e-Books may be browsed for quick reference or read at leisure. e-Books contain interactive features such as embedded dictionaries, a linked table of contents, and easy keyword searching.

e-Library e-Books are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week - from any location in the world.

How do I access e-Library?

E library Access Guidelines

To access the e-Library click on the line at the top of the page. This will take you to a basic search screen. From here you can access an advanced search.

To use e-Library's personalised features, such as note taking, users may create a free account.

Can I print a hard copy version of an e-Book or pages from an e-Book?

Users can copy or print single pages, just as people can photocopy single pages of a printed book. However, e-Library has developed mechanisms for limiting the copying and printing of e-Books from the Internet. If a user is rapidly viewing multiple pages of an e-Book - a pattern that indicates the possibility of page-by-page printing - e-Library will display a copyright notice and instruct the user to discontinue his or her actions. If the pattern continues, the account becomes disabled for a period of time, and the event is logged for tracking purposes.

e-Library support

Detailed information on using e-Library is available by clicking on the Help tab in the top navigation bar. Context sensitive help is also available by clicking on the tips links located on each page and in the e-Library online reader.
